It has nothing to do with a 3rd party launcher or not.
You need to go into the game launcher app, click on more at the bottom right, go into settings and switch show game apps from "in game launcher only" to "in game launcher and the home and apps screen"
Or if you don't wanna use the game launcher at all, you can do the above settings to make sure all your apps appear out of the game launcher itself and then disable game launcher altogether.
