Does anyone know how effective Samsung Knox is?

Hi! There are a bunch of viruses and dangerous malware floating around Android right now, and I was wondering how secure Knox is? I mean, it doesn't really say anything about how secure it is, compared to real world malware and related, and Android isn't the most protected of operating systems out there. 

So does Knox protect me against dangerous malware, or is it just an advertising scheme set by Samsung?

but still, respect for Samsung :)
