I purchased my fridge from samsung for about 4 mths but we recently hear this loud weird clanking noise that happened irregularly and intermitten through out the day. Its sound scary at mid night when you are trying to sleep.
Would like to know if this is normal? It is underwarranty, I have spoken to the samsung customer service they are saying thay they might charge me if it is not a mechnical defect.
So we got the technician to checked. Its the mother board issue. We managed to replaced it. Seemed the old motherboard is sending signal to speed up yhe compressor too fast till it has this sound. So replacing the motherboard it is working fine now.
