Unable to use "smart things" app after I changed my region/location.
Afterchaging the region I thought it was normal to have the verification but the duration was more than a month. Hence contacted the support and they were just transferring the line from one department to another and the basic solution provided didn't work such as uninstall and instal the app, clear cache.
After 3 weeks technical team called and are saying thr data migration is happening from one region to another so the dealy. What I can't understand is it's just small amount of data why is it taking too long ? And the only solution provided was to wait or "create a new account and manually transfer all my data" I was baffled upon checking online communities found there were alot of people affected by this for more than a year and samsung never provided them any solution.
Conclusion I can come is this:
If simple region change cannot be handled effectively by samsung then it's utterly useless. Can't trust or buy any samsung devices moving forward. Rather stick to reliable companys such as Apple.
