Anyone know a fix to the crappy file size you can send over mms as I just got off the phone with Samsung and they said its only 294 kbps but I've sent a 12MB video or text and it worked but I can't send a 0.8MB voice recording over text like WTF
No idea. Since different carriers have different limits on SMS and MMS, it is hard to tell. But from my past experience, the Message app should pop up a warning said the file will be compressed before sent because file size is larger than the send limit.
As you have performed the troubleshooting steps. But the issue still persists, I would like to request you please contact your carrier service provider for the required information. Certainly, they will assist you accordingly.
