Bubbles vs. Messenger Chatheads

I don't know. I just like the old messenger back. The bubbles look great and all. But nothing beats the convenience of the old messenger chatheads. Is there any way we could bring that back? I tried installing the old messenger but it still seems the same. It still goes back to the bubble thing. :(

 Okay. So the bubbles come from the android 11 update. But is there any way for samsung developers to not include this in the update? Or provide a different setting for the "bubble" option?

Also try set all incoming chats appear as bubbles by default.

I'm using A71. And if that's an issue with my phone, I guess it's also an issue to phones with smaller screens. 🤦

i found this article: https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/06/04/facebook-messenger-android-11-bubbles-api/?amp where apparently messenger has transitioned to the bubbles api on android 11 and they said that this is the norm now, no workarounds. i dunno, let's just hope on future patches for this fixed. now it's such a bummer.

First of all, we have no choice but to get used to it!

The issue regarding the usability in landscape mode should be fixed by the developers. Also, the bubbles is an Android 11 feature, so expect ALL phones, will adopt that "bubble" thing, whether we like it or not!

Also, I'm not a fan of then chat heads because it's too distracting.

Samsung can't do something about this. Because messenger follow the system, I think messenger is the one who will update and adjust. I wish they should make a way so the messenger has an option to follow the system or not.
