A little advise you guys. Every now and then, after updating your Samung phone to a major or minor software updates, wipe or clear the cache partition. Promise, this will fix a lot of issues especially the battery draining issue that I've experienced with my A53. How to do it, well there's a lot of tutorial on YT just search clear cache partition.

***If you don't have a PC or Laptop, just use your extra phone that supports an OTG connection. 😊

Hello Cl30,

Thank you for posting here about your experience with your Samsung A53 that had an issue with the fast-draining battery and how you were able to come up with a solution by wiping or clearing the cache partition.

For other Samsung members who will find it useful, they may go through the step-by-step instructions below.

Clear Cache Partition.

Step 1. Turn off your phone.

Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).

Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.

Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.

Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).

Step 6. Navigate to and select Yes.

Step 7. Press the power button to select Reboot system now.

We appreciate your contribution here, Cl30.
