Look I have been a loyal Samsung for a while now, my first smartphone is a Galaxy Young S6310 (non dual sim), that device until today still runs (but majority of apps no longer works or supports the device) then after 4 years I bought a J2 Prime that last me a year before I bought a new device, but that device until today runs and owned by my cousin. I tried Huawei got a Nova 3i but regretted it due to battery getting swollen just after a year, so now I switched back to Samsung.

My device is an A52 4G, and I loved it especially the high refresh rate, water resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and AMOLED. Those things is the first time I had on a device and that's something I wanna have when I need to upgrade. Well the build quality is plastic which I fine for me own a lot of plastic device before (not including the Nova 3i) and it feels great. But with that I wanna suggest y'all need to do a better job at your quality control for the midrange device y'all offering, I seen a lot of reports regarding poor build quality of the A52 series some minor, some just nit picking, but others a bit severe like power button falling off, back panel not aligned, creaking or clicking frame (I noticed that but I found it normal coz the area that is clicking on the frame is where the 5G antenna should be but since I have the 4G version the antenna is not there) but IP rating not compromised, etc but when I looked up your flagship device those $1000+ offering I barely see any poor quality reports. Look the device is $400 it ain't cheap, y'all should at least do the same quality control for the flagship device to your midrange device, I know y'all do a quality control for the midrange device but it doesn't feel like it's the same as before the S6310 is built like a rock and the J2 Prime well it never had a single scratch (I don't use tempered or plastic film on the screen I just use a case). A month ago the IP adhesive worn out that resulted the back panel separating from the frame, not the entire panel but the upper part where the logic board is. I figured due to maybe normal device heat and environmental humidity that might had caused it so bought it to Samsung Pampanga (I'm from Tarlac BTW) they fixed it had me check it and all welp everything looks fine, but just today as I'm cleaning the device I noticed the back panel adjacent to the headphone jack area is separating. I dunno if the repair guy cut corners or did a botched job, or whatever but that shouldn't happen. The Huawei device I had never experienced the back panel separating due to normal use (it separated when the battery swelled up) nor any device I seen had this issue. Thankfully device is still within warranty so I have to go back to Pampanga again to have it repair, if y'all wonder if I use my device in or on water NO, coz water-resistant isn't waterproof, it's design to repell water not stop it, the IP rating is rated under control situation. I don't know what y'all using for the IP adhesive for the midrange device but it needs a better quality control, I know someone who's reading this would say they never experienced this well lucky you, but it's still unfair for a lot of some to experience poor quality when we are paying the same $400 as you payed also.

So to Samsung I suggest do a better job at your quality control, I ain't Elon Musk can't buy a new device willy nilly so if this poor quality control on your midrange offering isn't fixed I would just switch to Apple, Loyalty is Earned not given BTW. I know there's those who are gonna yap negatively about this and claim outrageous things welp that's your view and this is my view, we can agree to disagree on something that's how democracy works, beside this is a positive criticism that every consumer has the right to, just because you are loyal to something that doesn't mean you should turn a blind eye to their mistake, if you really are loyal ya wanna correct or mention their mistake to them.

I 100% agree that Samsung needs to streamline quality control across all their devices. I can also enumerate observations I've made about how the company can improve their services, but that's not the point of my comment.

I find it quite IRONIC that you're claiming to not have the ability to purchase a device at random but you're threatening to switch to Apple. I don't think it's fair to compare a midrange gadget to an iPhone. First off, the price bracket of a midrange Samsung phone is very far off from an iPhone, unless maybe you're planning to get a second hand unit that's several generations old or you've stumbled upon a very good deal. Second, If you're thinking of switching to their biggest competitor, why not just purchase a flagship Samsung device then so you'd have a better experience?

So far for now I can't afford the flagship for both Apple and Samsung, and Apple offers a $450 midrange the iPhone SE.

The reason I didn't buy the SE last year is it's using the old iPhone 7-8 design, new reports or leaks said by next year the SE would have the iPhone XR design but keep the $450 price tag.

Also, I preferred the Snapdragon chip over the Exynos.

Made in Vietnam moments, same here on ny A52, the side was like pressing but we had it replaced. Still very good device tho. I just suggest using cases.

I have two cases one is a bit thin I use it when it's hot or playing games to let the device with heat management and the other rugged case when I'm outside.

Thankfully they offer self repair so I'll do it myself but order the genuine parts from them.

Dude, the heating is normal, I play games and they would often go up to 45 degrees, but I dont lose any gameplay performance and battery efficiency stays the same.
