I've just switched phone from Galaxy Z Flip 4, which I used from the end of 2022 until now, to A56. Both use Samsung Music app. but I see the default playlists (recently added, most played, recently played, favourite tracks) that used to sit on top of users' playlists are gone on a56. Can I reinstate them somehow, or have they been discontinued?

I use Spotify Premium, but this is what is available on Samsung Music.

Hi kyk0329,

Thanks for sharing your experience. The default playlists in the Samsung Music app—such as Recently Added, Most Played, Recently Played, and Favorite Tracks—have been a staple feature on many Galaxy devices. However, on models like the Galaxy A56, these playlists may no longer appear due to changes in app behavior and device-specific limitations.

As mentioned by RedDogRabbit, Spotify  is currently available within the Samsung Music app. This allows users to access and stream Spotify content directly through the Samsung Music interface, enhancing the overall listening experience.

I don't think that it's device specific limitations, as the screen shots I posted are from my S25 Ultra One UI V8.0. More likely to be changes in Samsung Music.
