Extra Dim affecting screen recordings

Brightness level of system does not affect recording and visibility of screenshots remain the same regardless of whether the feature is on or off.

I'm hoping to achieve this with screen recordings as well.

System brightness level doesn't affect visibility of recordings unlike Extra Dim.

With Extra Dim enabled, brightness of screenshot is unaffected.

Without Extra Dim enabled for comparison.

Toggle OFF Extra Dim for screen recordings..

I'd rather not blind myself in the middle of the night. That's the whole point of the feature.

You could always turn off Adaptive Brightness & adjust the Brightness to a level you are comfortable with at night & disable Extra Dim.

System brightness doesn't affect visibility of recordings unlike Extra Dim. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to blind myself just to use my device otherwise what's the point of the feature?

Hi FreshGarlic, as suggested by RedDogRabbit, please toggle off extra dim for screen recording and check if the problem is solved.

Well yes, with it off the recording is normal but that's to be expected. It should be no different for Extra Dim.

Has anyone solved this? It seems quite an annoying bug. And I wouldn't want to have to disable extra dim manually every time I record something. It's quite inconvenient.
