Finding information on the internet has always been an easy task for everyone. However, searching for results could become a little troublesome when you have to restart your search back again after shutting down the browser.

With this in mind, Google has introduced activity cards in 2019 whereby users are able to resume their hunt for information even if they decide to quit the browser app on their device. These activity cards are situated at the top of the results page and Google has recently updated them to put more emphasis on searches that relate to jobs, recipes and shopping.

For example, shopping activity card will show you products that you have been researching even though you are not at the product page directly and are looking at different types of contents that could be related to those products such as review articles.

For jobs, the feature will have relevant job openings based on previous search history and for recipes, there will be more options showed within the list according to the user’s search query. However, Google did not clarify if this update is being available across the globe but judging from our own search results, seems like it might be limited to the United States for the time being.

Actually, this is a great idea, because these cards will simplify the task for both the employer and the job seeker.

In general, it isn't necessary to create something new, because convenient services have long been invented. For example, there is Jooble, when you create your profile, indicating education, work experience, personal preferences, and so on. Accordingly, it is easier for an employer to understand who is contacting him about a vacancy.
