Happy February and I hope everyone had a great week!

We have some pretty big highlights to cover this week so we'll move right along:

The biggest highlight of this week and one I've seen many in the community buzzing about is Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event that took place on February 1st! Did you tune in to the event? If so, what's your favorite new feature that was unveiled? If you missed out on the event and want a summary on what you can look forward to with Samsung's newest mobile innovations, read about it here

I'd love to hear if you've pre-ordered any of the new items, what color (if applicable), and what you're most looking forward to.

Another big highlight is the roll-out of Samsung Wallet in Canada! Some of you may have already gotten the app, but if it's not available for you yet, trust that it's coming soon!

One question: regarding Samsung Wallet, when is the update rolling out? It's still listed as Samsung Pay in the Galaxy Store and Google Play.

Try to clear cache of Samsung pay and the Galaxy Store, do a wipe cache partition, and check if you have an update available for Samsung wallet.
and just to confirm, are you in Canada?

I tried that and it didn't work. I still haven't received the update in the Galaxy Store. Yes, I'm in Canada. The model number of my phone is SM-G981W on Freedom Mobile.

I think that the update should already be available for your device... Maybe just wait and it will come soon

Yeah, I think the only option is to wait which isn't an issue. I'm willing to wait.

I wiped app cache for both Galaxy Store and Samsung Pay, along with the system cache in the recovery menu, and the Wallet update showed up, along with a few others.

I'm scared to touch the recovery menu because I don't know how to do it and I don't want to screw something up and brick the phone.
