well simply open your smartthings from your other galaxy phone, then choose life then tap any device you wanna to locate
so here's the thing smartthings = google find my mobile, so you need two galaxy phones to locate each other thru smartthings, and that device you wanna to locate should have active internet connection to be located
with active internet connection you can ring it, lock it, or track your lost device. The good thing about smartthings you don't have to re-login to your samsung account
