yeah same here. Samsung prioritizes new device sales over timely software updates and customer satisfaction. That explains the poor communication regarding software updates

The communication has always been pretty poor, but this is the first year, where updates have been extremely slow.

If you go back, maybe 4 or 5 years ago, Samsung had really improved their updates.. but this year... 🙄

I also received this on my discover feed. I had an initial suspicion but now it seems to be a publicly stated opinion. Though I hope in the future there's some sort of change at headquarters. But as of now Samsung's execs seem to be in a lot of hot water, and the additional discontent seems to be seems to have done nothing to change policy. Still excellent post and good post to bring to light.

I think articles like this are complete nonsense and written by petulant children.

It is entirely consistent of Samsung to debut their software revisions in the latest model for a little while. When has this not happened?

Samsung can make users feel like their devices are being neglected and that Samsung is prioritizing new phone sales over supporting existing customers. Competitive disadvantage: In a fast-moving market, being slow with updates can put Samsung at a disadvantage compared to manufacturers who offer quicker updates.
