Samsung has announced that it will be discontinuing the DeX for PC on Windows app with the upcoming One UI 7 update. DeX, short for "Desktop eXperience," allows Galaxy device users to access their device's screen on their PC and seamlessly transfer files between the two devices.
The company encourages users to use the Link to Windows feature instead, which offers similar capabilities. However, the discontinuation of the DeX Windows app is still a blow to fans of the feature, as it provides a convenient way to extend their phone's functionality to a larger screen.
