However, the 1000 cycle number is more optimistic and may apply to ideal conditions or future battery technologies.
To extend your battery's life:
Avoid deep discharges (keeping the battery above 20%).
Keep the device in moderate temperatures.
Use optimized charging features, like Adaptive Charging or Protect Battery (which limits the charge to 85%).
My battery protection is always on at maximum unless I'm traveling, and I need to recharge it to 100% but 95% of the time, it's recharged to 80% with the new Samsung settings
