I've tried Google Messages, but I'm going back to Samsung Messages. RCS on Samsung Messages works flawlessly and instantly. I've had a terrible experience setting up Google Messages; it took forever, and I never even got to try out the rich messaging features.
Even if Samsung were to discontinue their messaging app, I'd still use it. It's deeply integrated with other Samsung apps like Notes, Calendar, Voice Recorder, and My Files. I love how easy it is to insert text from Samsung Notes. While Google's features like reactions and Gemini integration are interesting, they don't outweigh the benefits of Samsung's seamless integration.
