I am disappointed to learn screen issues with my just over 2 years old 82" Q70 TV. Initially, the 1/3 of the right side of the screen is darker. After unplugged the power for 1/2 hr, now the 1/3 of the right side of the screen is brighter. It is especially noticeable when there is black background and you see the right side is white.
Contacted Samsung customer services, was told warranty is only 1 year and I am on my own. Did my research and this issue seems common among Samsung TV. Saw a post from US Samsung community and US Samsung offered tech to fix the issue free of charge. But I guess it is not in Canada.
