I am still unable to access all files within the shared Manager. Will Samsung be releasing a software update to address this issue?

No error messages appear. Upon selecting "browse," the screen briefly flashes, suggesting an attempt to load files, but no action occurs.

While the Photos tab displays all device photos, the Albums tab only shows pre-defined folders (Favorites, Camera, Downloads, and Screenshots). The remaining albums are inaccessible.

The "browse" function, accessible via the "more" option, remains non-functional.

I need this fixed Samsung.

Hi Redonis_,

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue with the Shared Manager, specifically with the “Browse” function not loading, and only limited folders appearing under the Albums tab.

This has been brought to our attention, and our development team is currently investigating the issue. The brief screen flash you’re seeing when selecting "Browse" indicates the app is attempting to open the file explorer, but is failing to load the full directory structure as expected.

While we do not have an exact release date yet, we can confirm that this behavior has been logged for a future update. In the meantime, we recommend:

  1. Ensure all apps are updated in the Galaxy Store (Menu > Updates).

  2. Go to Settings > Apps > [Shared Manager or My Files, depending on device] > Storage and tap Clear cache.

  3. Restart your device and try again.

If the issue persists, please send an error report through the Samsung Members app (Samsung Members > Support > Error reports) immediately after reproducing the issue, so our engineers can analyze the log files.

We understand how frustrating this can be and truly appreciate your patience while we work to resolve it.

Ok, I'll try what you suggested and do what you said if the problem persists.

Following a reset of the application preferences within the device settings, the shared manager and browse functionality have been restored. This issue has been resolved independently, eliminating the need to await a Samsung-provided solution. Thanks for your assistance though. 😁
