Stock Gallery app barely works with third-party file manager apps

If I open an image using the stock Gallery app through third-party file manager apps, there will be lots of missing functionality (example used in screen recording is MiXplorer).

I can't open the image directly for editing or scroll if there are multiple images in the folder either.

I hope this wasn't done deliberately like with MIUI where they refuse to get gesture navigation to work on third-party launchers.☹️

Yes, this only happens with third-party apps.

Hi, we recommend you to uninstall and re-install that third party app.

If still has the issue then check with the app developer for compatibility issues with Gallery app and File Explorer

Already mentioned thread this happens with other apps as well. Another one I've tried is called "Solid Explorer".
