I’ve been using the Samsung Calendar app and love its features, but I think a couple of additions could make it even better:
1. Preset Schedules for Repeating Days:
Imagine creating labeled schedules like "Day 1" or "Day 2." For example:
Day 1:
Math (9am - 10:20am)
English (10:25am - 11:40am)
Lunch (11:40am - 12:35pm)
Science (12:40pm - 1:55pm)
History (2pm - 3:15pm)
Day 2:
PE (9am - 10:20am)
Art (10:25am - 11:40am)
Lunch (11:40am - 12:35pm)
Chemistry (12:40pm - 1:55pm)
Literature (2pm - 3:15pm)
You’d save these "Day 1" and "Day 2", and with one click, apply them to specific dates. This would save a lot of time compared to manually adding each event repeatedly. It’d be super useful for students, rotating shifts, or recurring routines.
2. Set Images as Calendars:
Another idea is the ability to upload images directly to calendars. For example, I often get school schedules as images. Instead of switching between my gallery and the calendar app, I could add these images "as a calendar", name it and use it for easy reference.
3. Multi-Date Selection for Schedules:
Add the ability to long-press a date, select multiple dates (in any order), and apply the same schedule to all of them at once. For example, if I need to set my school’s Day 1 schedule across various dates, this would save so much time compared to editing each date individually. It’d be a huge convenience for anyone managing complex schedules.
I truely think that these features would make Samsung Calendar more versatile and user-friendly.
