TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Organizer: This Program is organized by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd (“Samsung”).
Samsung’s server is the official time-keeping device for this Program. Samsung reserves the right to amend or extend the duration or any particular of this Program at any time as they deem fit without any prior notice
Program:
- The Spin & Win program is to encourage Samsung Members to log on to the Members app and play to win prizes. Prizes include Samsung.com product e-vouchers, partner e-vouchers, and physical prizes.
- Program period is from 8 to 16 November 2022, 23:59 pm.
Eligibility. The Program is open to individuals who:
- Are residents of Malaysia, 18 years of age and above (as of 8 November 2022 as stated in their NRIC) except the employees of the Organizer, their affiliates and/or related companies, distributors, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies;
- A user of any Samsung Galaxy device;
- Have registered for a valid Samsung Account ID and uses Samsung Members. Samsung Accounts are free, but subject to Terms and Conditions. If you do not have a Samsung Account, visit account.samsung.com and follow the links and instructions to create an account; (Hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Participant(s)”)
- By participating in this Program, each Eligible Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by Samsung from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions. Samsung reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
Participation Mechanism:
- To participate, an Eligible Participant must first agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Spin & Win Program.
- The Eligible Participant will proceed to “Spin the Wheel”
- The Eligible Participant may land on one of the segments on the ‘Wheel’ and receive the corresponding prize (if any).

Campaign Prizes - Physical
- Details of campaign prizes are as per Appendix 2 below
- The winner announcement will be made on 18 November 2022 or any such other date determined by Samsung;
- The prizes are given out on an “As Is” basis and are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable for cash or with vouchers of other denominations, whether in part or in full;
- Prizes are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
- Winners will have to provide Samsung with details for verification and delivery purposes. Winning email/message that are not replied to within five (5) days (“Claim Period”), will be considered as prize unclaimed;
- Any prizes unclaimed after the said Claim Period will be forfeited and deemed to have lapsed unconditionally and irrevocably. The winner whose prize has been forfeited or unclaimed shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation from Samsung;
- Picture(s) of the prizes shown in any advertisement, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Contest is / are solely for illustration purposes only and may not depict the actual colour, model or specification of the prize(s) and does not include any optional accessories.
Delivery of Physical Prize(s) and Prize Redemption
- The prizes will be delivered to the winners by 28 February 2023 or such other period as may be determined solely by Samsung;
- Samsung reserves the right to appoint a third party (3rd) party vendor or service provider to handle the fulfilment or making available of the prize(s) and delivery of the prize(s) to you. By providing your personal information including name, delivery address, contact numbers, email address and other information to Samsung, Samsung can use and/or disclose to such third party (3rd) party vendor or service provider for the purposes of delivery service;
- Samsung shall not be responsible or liable for any delays or non-delivery of the prizes;
- Samsung shall not be responsible for any inaccurate details provided by the Participant to claim their prizes, if any.
- Samsung reserves the right at its discretion to approve or reject any submission and/or details submitted to Samsung which are not legible and fraudulent. For the avoidance of doubt, Samsung reserves the right, as it deems fit to determine if the supporting details are sufficiently legible and/or genuine.
- Samsung shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) for personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation of the Program.
- By participating in this Program, each Eligible Participant is communicating with Samsung electronically. By doing so, each Eligible Participant agrees to receive communications from Samsung electronically. Samsung will communicate by push message via Samsung Members, electronic mail at the electronic mail address provided by the Eligible Participant or posting notices in such manner specified herein. Each Eligible Participant consents to receiving electronically, all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that Samsung provides in relation to the Program. Notwithstanding any provisions herein, each Eligible Participant acknowledges that Samsung have the discretion, but is not obliged, to contact the Eligible Participant via other reasonable means or mode of communication as they deem fit.
- Each Eligible Participant agrees to take part in any and all marketing, promotional, publicity exercises with respect to this Program; agrees for Samsung to use his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness or other personal identifiable information in any media for the promotion and publicity of this Program and/or Samsung products: and grants Samsung all consents and waivers necessary hereunder, including in respect of any promotional photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken in respect of this Program. Each Eligible Participant agrees that Samsung shall be at liberty to publish, promote, copy, reproduce, transmit, display, edit, adapt, modify, create derivative works of and/or otherwise distribute or use his/her particulars (including any publicly available Facebook profile photo and details):
- In connection with this Program and/or Samsung products;
- For the promotion and publicity of this Program and/or Samsung products;
- In any manner, format or media whether now known or hereinafter created, and in any part of the world, including without limitation on online platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram; at Samsung’s sole discretion and royalty-free and without obligation of attribution or consent. Each Eligible Participant hereby irrevocably grants Samsung all consents and waivers necessary in connection with the above.
- In the event of any dispute arising from this Program or relating to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Samsung on all matters pertaining to this Program shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence or further claims shall be entertained.
- If this Program is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond Samsung’s control, Samsung reserves the right in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- To disqualify any Eligible Participant; or
- To modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Program, as appropriate.
- Samsung makes no guarantee of the availability of Samsung Members application or its web services and will not be held responsible for any interruption of service that may interfere with the ability to participate in this Program.
- Samsung collects, uses and processes and/or discloses (including third party overseas) Participants’ personal information in order to conduce this Program, and in accordance with the Samsung Privacy Policy (www.samsung.com/my/info/privacy.html). Each Eligible Participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of enrollment is conditional on providing this information. Each Eligible Participant agrees that Samsung may, for a reasonable period of time, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or making phone calls to the Participant(s).
- Each Participant agrees to indemnify and hold Samsung harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) arising from the alleged or actual infringement of any third party copyright, patent, trademark or other intellectual property rights, or other rights, any breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or arising out of or in connection with this Program.
- Each Eligible Participant shall not, without the prior written approval of Samsung, speak to the press or any other media, or give any interviews or comments relating to this Program.
- Samsung reserves the right to use any personal data of Eligible Participants in any manner as mentioned above and/or for any purpose they deem fit for the purposes of this Program and the Eligible Participants are deemed to consent to such use with no monetary payment.
- The decision of Samsung in relation to every aspect of this Program, including but not limited to the Eligible Participants shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstances and no appeal or complaint from any Eligible Participant will be entertained.
- Samsung reserves the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Program with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by Samsung shall not entitle the Eligible Participant to any claim or compensation against Samsung for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and each Eligible Participant irrevocable submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Appendix 1 – Voucher Details

- Valid for one-time use on a Transport ride in Malaysia only.
- Valid on JustGrab, GrabCar, Rent and Standard Taxi only. Not applicable on GrabFood, GrabMart and GrabExpress.
- Promo code cannot be applied on the Platform Fee.
- Promo code cannot be stacked, clubbed or combined for use in a single transaction.
- Promo code cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts and promotions.
- Promo code must be redeemed within the stipulated period. No extension of validity allowed.
- Promo code is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash/credit-in-kind. Any unconsumed value shall be forfeited.
- Grab reserves the right to vary and amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- If your promo code has an error, please visit our help centre to report an issue: https://help.grab.com/passenger/en-my/articles/115011212167-My-promo-code-doesn-t-work.
- Do not click ‘MARK AS USED’ before you claim the voucher at Partner’s selected outlets, otherwise the voucher code cannot be retrieved and Grab will not be able to provide a replacement code.
- E-Voucher is required to be ‘Mark as Used’ by user upon completion of redemption at Grab Ride.

- When you use a Giant eVoucher you warrant to GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (‘Giant’) that you are the duly authorised recipient of the voucher and that you are using it in good faith
- If you redeem, attempt to redeem, or encourage the redemption of the vouchers to obtain discounts to which you or a third party are not entitled you may be committing a civil or criminal offence
- If we reasonably believe that any vouchers are being used unlawfully or illegally we may reject or cancel any vouchers and you agree that you will have no claim against us in respect of any rejection or cancellation. General Terms and Conditions
- The redemption item is provided on an ‘as is’ basis and strictly cannot be exchanged or refunded or replaced with other or different redemption item/ models/ products.
- Once user has placed a redemption and it is accepted by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd (‘SME’), his/her redemption request cannot be revoked, cancelled or be exchanged. Once you have redeemed your Rewards Points, they will be considered extinguished and strictly cannot be reinstated.
- GrabCar Sdn Bhd (‘Grab’) and SME shall not be liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the acceptance and/or usage of the E-voucher.
- All images are for illustration purposes only.
- SME reserves the right to alter, cancel, extend, terminate or suspend the E-voucher or any part thereof, or any part of the applicable terms and condition from time to time, with or without any prior notice. In case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the E-voucher, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision. Samsung’s decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
- SME will not reimburse, compensate or otherwise be held responsible for any lost, stolen or deleted E-voucher.
- SME reserves the right to cancel, suspend, revoke or terminate the redeemed item or any of your Rewards Points earned or accrued in your Samsung Rewards Account that is suspected to be a result of fraud or any irregular transaction, or if SME believes that user’s transactions and/or reward points has been manipulated in any way by machines or computers or the user has committed a breach of these terms and conditions, terms and conditions governing your Samsung Account, your Samsung Rewards Account or any other account, product, facility, service(s) granted by SME to you.
- SME reserves the right to cancel or modify or revoke the use of the voucher codes or redemption, where the vouchers are used in the following circumstances: suspicious or fraudulent voucher use, voucher abuse, including voucher redeemed using multiple accounts or multiple checkouts associated with the same user/customer and/or voucher used in bad faith (including resold voucher or use of voucher orders made and intended for resale).
- By redeeming the E-voucher, user agrees to release and hold SME and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the E-voucher redemption or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the E-voucher or from any gift-related activity, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
- SME will not assume any responsibility or liability for the E-voucher and SME expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties or endorsement, implied or express, written or oral, of the E-voucher offered under this reward, including but not limited to any warranty of quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, health and safety. The E-voucher is offered solely by the merchant under such terms and conditions as may be determined by the merchant. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the E-voucher offered by the merchant shall be resolved by the users directly with the merchant.
- By participating in this redemption, you agree that the collection of such information will be processed, handled and used in accordance with the Samsung Privacy Policy at http://www.samsung.com/my/info/privacy.html.
- The terms and conditions herein shall be governed by laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the terms and conditions and this e-voucher shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.

Samsung Product Voucher Codes
- Steps to utilize:
- Go to the Samsung Online Store (http://www.samsung.com/my/) and select any desired non-promotional item sold at our recommended retail price (“RRP”), and add to cart to begin the ordering/purchase process.
- Enter the Voucher Code in the ‘Promo Code’ box and press ‘Confirm’ at the checkout page. The Voucher Code must be entered prior to completing the purchase at checkout. The Voucher Code cannot be claimed after the purchase transaction is completed.
- Terms & Conditions
- Samsung product voucher codes can only be used for Samsung Consumer Electronics products (excluding accessories);
