It seems like Samsung is ending the Edge panel downloads with One UI 7. Does this mean they will end official support for the Edge panel? That would be another frequently used function removed from Galaxy phones. Previously, they removed Samsung Cloud, and now they are removing the Edge panel. Samsung really seems to like discontinuing features that Samsung users love! That's not right, SAMSUNG! You just added the new Smart Select function with One UI 6.1.1, and now you are telling me you will no longer support it with One UI 7.0? So disappointed!

I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. "termination" of edge panels, might mean in their current form.. 

We'll have to wait for the Stable version of One UI V7.0 to know for sure. 

One UI V6.1.1 did remove some features, but apparently they are returning with One UI V7.0.. 

There are extremely good 3rd party alternatives to edge panels, two of which I have been using for ages. 

Swiftly Switch & LMT. Both are very customizable. LMT is only available from XDA.
