OthersCache (pronounce: kash, not ka-ce) is a specific storage space for temporary files that improves device or app performance . A cache stores other relevant data on the device after we first open an app or website.
If cache is good for our device, why do we have to clear it?
While cache gives benefit to Galaxy devices, it also can:
Takes up a lot of storage space.
Some caches can become extremely large, limiting the amount of free space on our device. Clearing the cache allows us to delete files and recover a large amount of memory.
Causes the app to behave badly.
If a file stored in the cache contains an error, it can cause the app to display data incorrectly, or even crash. As a result, clearing the cache is a common trouboeshoot for browser issues.
Here is the easy method on how to clear the cache on Galaxy device :
- Tap and hold the app we want to clear the cache on
- Click on the ⓘ
- Click on Storage
- Tap Clear cache located at the bottom right corner

Others1. Power off your phone and connect it to pc using cable.
2. Power it on by holding the Power button + Volume up for several seconds until the Android Recovery display is appeared after Samsung logo.
3. By using Volume down, select 'Wipe cache partition'
4. Click Power button.
5. Select 'Yes' and click Power button.
6. Wait for the cache clearing process to be done.
7. After done, choose 'Reboot system now' and your device will reboot.
8. End
