I realize this article is all about iphones but all phones have the same basic charging port possibility of problems😂

Totally disputes everybodys idea of how to dry a wet phone🤔

I get why Apple is advising against using rice, but if you don't happen to have any silica gel packs lying around, rice will work. 

Considering that phones that are ip68 rated against dust & moisture.. I'm not sure if dust from rice is an issue.. 🤔

I've seen some people recommend immersing a phone in isopropyl alcohol to remove moisture as well. 

Yet to see anyone recommend a microwave though 🤣

Almost sounds like broken pieces of Rice kernels might be the main reason they advise against using it

Possibly damaging things if you don't notice them and  get them out when trying to charge the device🤔
