WhatsApp is working on a feature to set up a WhatsApp username, and it will be available in a future update of the app! This way, users can find someone on the platform by their username.
The screenshot below from WABetaInfo shows WhatsApp beta for Android v2.23.11.15 has a new section in its profile settings that allows users to choose their own unique username.
