I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this same issue...

Whenever I'm on a call in Whatsapp, if I close the screen or switch applications, the person I'm on the phone with can no longer hear me.

Hi, please check that your Background data is on.

Open your device's Settings >> tap Apps >> WhatsApp >> Mobile data & Wi-Fi >> Turn on the Background data.

Update WhatsApp to the latest version available on the Google Play Store.

Upgrade your device operating system to the latest version available for your device.

Also check that you have granted whats app permissions on your device.

Open Settings on your phone and go to Apps or Apps & notifications >> Tap on WhatsApp under All apps >> Tap on Permissions. Grant Camera and Microphone permissions.

All permissions granted...now. I didn't have the call logs or sms allowed. Going to test now
