OthersCould be because of old hardware? 2016 to 2022 is around 5-6 years which is a long time for a smartphone.
At the end of the day, our smartphones are wear and tear devices. Sooner or later they’ll have to be replaced and given that it has worked for that long I’ll be quite proud of my device.

OthersI think it won't die just like that. Maybe there's no more software/ security update, application not supported anymore due to older version, battery life no longer good anymore, etc.
But this is a hint that it is time to get a new device. You can try out their Samsung latest A series if you are not looking for a high end phone. The A series is actually not bad (those release early this year). Or else wait a bit longer (2023) for S23 or another new A series.
