Some findings : I found out that 12MP struggles for night scenes, while Night mode requires the subjects to be stationary for the best results.
Hence, 50MP 2X zoom is the best settings to use during this event. The only drawback was the time taken for the refining process to complete.
So what I did were to review the shots only after the prize giving session has done + take as much shots as possible.
