I found out that the Samsung 25w Adapter is on sale on the official online store for 50% off! This is such a perfect Christmas gift! I ordered just last Dec. 3 6pm Sunday and received my item on Dec. 4 3pm. That was fast! It even was very well packed with zero plastics inside the box! Thank you Samsung for an awesome deal, an eco-friendly packaging, and a very fast delivery!

They removed the adapter from the box due to environmental reasons. Then if you order an adapter from their site, they'll use tons of plastic and boxes for packaging. For context, our nearest samsung store don't have a 25watts adapter. It's worth 1600 and I'll have to wait 2 weeks.

Can you share when exactly was the time you received a packaging with tons of plastics inside? As this might be before Samsung's commitment with zero waste in packaging. And also for context, the adapter I bought was on sale. And all Samsung stores around the world have different rates.

I was referring to the carriers packaging. It was boxed, wrapped in a bubble plastic, and was put inside the carrier's plastic.

This can be raised with the carrier as this was a separate order and not from Samsung directly

It's just ironic to me. Separating the charger from the handset box can encourage us to reuse our chargers, but wastes can still be there in one way or form.

I absolutely get your point, but waste is significantly lesser compared to having chargers on each box.
