How to use Generative photo editing
You can resize, remove, and reposition objects in photos, and the Generative photo editing feature will recreate the image in the most natural way.
Step 1. Open the Gallery app > Select a photo.
Step 2. Tap the Edit icon to enter editing mode.
Step 3. Tap the Generative edit icon.
Step 4. Tap the object or draw a line around it to select an object.
Step 5. You can delete, move, or resize objects by long-pressing on them.
Step 6. Adjust the tilt lever to align images > Tap Generate.
Step 7. Tap Done and save as a copy.
* Users can zoom out beyond the image borders, and the Generative photo editing feature will auto-fill the empty space.
* It may provide additional output suggestions after generating.
Note: When utilizing the Generative photo editing feature, unintended objects or items may be included in your output. If the content is considered inappropriate, it may not be generated at all.

By entering the Halloween AI Generative Edit Contest (the “Contest”) you (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
The Promoter
The Promoter of this Contest is Samsung Electronics Canada, 2050 Derry Road West, Mississauga, Ontario (the “Promoter”).
Eligibility
This Contest is open solely to residents of Canada with a valid Samsung Account and Samsung Members Community account (each, a “Participant”).
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of its group companies, or their families or households, or anyone professionally connected to this Contest are not eligible to be a Participant or enter.
Contest Period
Submissions will open at 10:00 AM EST on October 21 and will end November 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST (the “Contest Period”).
Evaluations will take place from 10:00 AM EST on November 11, 2025, to 12:00 PM EST on November 13, 2025.
Winner(s) will be contacted on November 17, 2025.

Prize

How to Enter
Participants are each limited to one (1) Entry throughout the Contest Period. Entries received from any Participant in excess of this limitation will be deemed void.
Any text, videos, images, or other content (the “Content”) submitted by the Participant as part of the Entry must adhere strictly to the following content guidelines (the “Content Guidelines”):
- a) The Content must not display the image or likeness of any person or any information about any person unless the Participant has obtained that person’s permission.
b) The Content must not display any cruelty to any animal or person.
c) The Content must not infringe any third-party intellectual property.
d) The Content must not infringe the rights of, or be defamatory or libelous about, any person.
e) The Content must be suitable for viewing by people of all ages and must fully comply with the law and all regulations.
f) The Content must not contain or display any words or images considered, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, to be offensive, sexually explicit, rude, disparaging, or otherwise inappropriate.
g) The use of artificial intelligence (“AI”) technology outside of Galaxy AI to create or submit Content is prohibited. All entries should include the Galaxy AI trademark. Content must not have been previously published or received prior awards, and must not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy or publicity, or any other intellectual property or rights of any person or entity.
For safety reasons, Participants must not include or reveal any personal information (e.g., name, contact details, etc.) in any Content.
Use of the Entries / Content by the Promoter
The Promoter may publish Content produced by the winner on any of its websites or social networking pages, as well as any Content received in connection with this Contest, at any time and for any reason.
If a user wishes to withdraw consent for the use of their Content, they must notify the Promoter prior to the winner announcement date.
All Participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, and transferable license to use the submitted Content for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising the Promoter’s products. The Participant hereby waives all moral rights in the Content submitted, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Privacy and Data Protection
Except as provided in these Terms and Conditions or for the purpose of operating the Contest, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Contest or claiming the Prize will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shared with any third party.

Participants may withdraw consent to the use of their personal information by writing to the Promoter or using the opt-out process outlined in the privacy policy.

g) L’utilisation d’une technologie d’intelligence artificielle (« IA ») autre que Galaxy AI pour créer ou soumettre du contenu est interdite. Toutes les participations doivent inclure la marque de commerce Galaxy AI. Le contenu ne doit pas avoir été publié auparavant ni avoir reçu de prix antérieurs et ne doit pas enfreindre les droits d’auteur, marques de commerce, droits à la vie privée, droits de publicité ou tout autre droit de propriété intellectuelle d’une personne ou entité.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, les participants ne doivent pas inclure ni divulguer de renseignements personnels (p. ex. nom, coordonnées, etc.) dans leur contenu.
