I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the recent 7.7 Sale conducted by Samsung Philippines via Shopee Philippines. During this sale, several products, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24, were advertised with pricing that was significantly lower than 50% of their original prices as well as the 7.7 sale were pricing are suppose to drop. I have attached evidence in the form of screenshots and a video recording from the live selling event on Shopee. In the video, viewers can be seen expressing their frustration and disappointment over the discrepancy between the advertised prices and the actual prices displayed during the sale.
I would like to highlight that there was an advertisement on Samsung’s Shopee page indicating that the pricing for the mentioned phones would be as low as ₱29,999 (2?,???) and ₱19,999 (1?,???). However, during the sale, the actual prices displayed were inconsistent with these advertised amounts. As a concerned customer, I believe it is crucial for Samsung to address this issue promptly. Transparency and accurate pricing are essential for maintaining trust with consumers. If no actions are taken to rectify this situation, I am prepared to escalate the matter via the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through their Consumer Complaints Assistance and Resolution (CARe) System. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution.
That was a flash sale, and for sure, only a limited number of devices were available. You need to be on time and move fast upon participating in a sale like that.
