No Progress with Gift Redemption - Stuck on Pending Shipping

I purchased an S23 Ultra with the Galaxy S23 - Great Samsung Sale Bundle (Trade-In) on 06/25/2023, but up until now, the status of the redemption has been on "Pending Shipping" since 06/29/2023. I was told it would come within 21 days and it has been longer than that. 

Redemption No. PHG20230625102051-349

In addition, I also received a text from Samsung stating that the freebie would be upgraded to a Watch 5 Pro 45mm and I confirmed with a text stating "Yes" to the number provided in said text. Is this legitimate?

I got that message too.

They said upgraded to Watch 5 40mm plus power bank from 44mm.

I don't see it as an upgrade.

This waiting game and changes on promotional gift made me realize not to buy samsung anymore. I'm done w this none sense customer support and scam like promos.

No agent replied with the right answer. Only an email with no options but to reply YES to so called "upgrade". Very sketchy.

They keep emailing as if I got no options. A forced upgrade. Of course, I didn't confirm it. No point of the bundle promo when we are all waiting for the longest time too. Not good marketing strategy when consumers are left hanging over a month.

I understand that you're weary about the upgrade text and email. But if the communication comes from a Samsung Domain and number (which is easily identified) it should be official.

I also understand that the brand could do better in terms of fulfilling redemptions. But also the other side of it is, that it's possible this promotion did very well than their projected numbers - so the stock of gift items may be lesser than the actual number of customers who availed the promotion. Hence the delays. They could do better in notifying or responding to inquiries though.

Also, why are we all so quick to label something as a scam? The longest I've had to wait for a redemption was 3 weeks, and I also had troubles getting a concrete reply but I've never once cried scam right away.

It's going 2 months bro for the wait. I rather not let our hopes high. i 3 weeks is nothing. 2 months is too much.
