I hope someone from Samsung can clarify their S24 pre-order offers. I'm trying to pre-order an S24 Ultra 1TB and will trade-in my S23 Ultra 512GB. The trade-in value of my current device is Php 31,500. Based on their offer, I can have further discount of 50% of the current value of the S23 Ultra 512GB, which is Php 40,995, and I can obtain the S24 Ultra 1TB for the price of the 512GB, which is free storage upgrade worth of Php 14,000. However, iba ung nagiging final amount niya 'pag mag-check-out. Instead of Php 20,495 (Php 92,990 less Php 31,500 and Php 40,995), ang amount niya is Php 34,495. A difference of Php 14,000, which is the free storage upgrade. So in effect pala, parang wala kang free storage upgrade, which is misleading to consumers. This will be a possible case kay DTI for misleading promotion.
