Battery life

This might just be me, and I'll have to go through more cycles to know for sure, but it seems to me that the battery drains more quickly since installing the beta. I understand that there might still be optimizing going on and that things may improve with subsequent updates, but I was curious if anyone else was seeing decreased battery life since installing the beta.

mine has been draining like crazy, but I just installed it today and I know there is a ton of system usage while it gets settled.

mine is not bad at all, around the same draining time as before the update.

System and app optimizations take a toll on the battery after every software update - even worse when it is a beta and kinks need to be worked out.
If it is any help, you can turn on "Adaptive battery" (Settings > Device Care > Battery > App power management > Adaptive battery)...

Gotta say, I've ran thru all of the settings looking for new things and currently have Netflix running from my phone to the TV and my battery honestly seems amazing. as good or better than before the beta load.

to @CxA 's point, I always have my battery set to Adaptive.

Good to hear that others are getting better battery life. I'll tweak some settings and keep an eye on things.

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
