My battery before the beta would be about 80% at 12:00 am and today it was at 50%. Will it get better over time?

Beta software typically results in a decrease of battery life; part of the reason for a beta test is to help Samsung developers optimize the OS for performance. I used to test beta versions of iOS when I was an iPhone user, and I often experienced similar decreases in battery performance.

Please put in an error report so the devs can look at your device logs and see what's eating up the battery. That way they can improve it for the official release.

Odd, I actually noticed mine has improved with the beta. 13hrs off the charger, 1.5hrs SOT and 81% remaining.

give it a few charge cycles before totally writing off as bad battery life. let it settle and force optimize it through the device care menus. also try installing galaxy labs application from the galaxy app store and run the app booster
