gallery not working

I'm still having issues with the gallery even after I restart. Also when I take a photo it does not show up in the gallery. I can see photos in the My Files app as well as Google in photos. In fact even when I take a new photo I can see it in Google photos. Anybody else have similar issues?

Mine did that initially to. give it a few minutes and the gallery should populate.

figured it out for some reason my sec media storage was disabled
