How do I activate Google Assistant with Samsung gesture? The swipe up and hold doesn't work anymore and hasn't since beta 2

Please make sure Google Assistant is installed on your latest Beta software. If so, are you able to access Google Assistant via alternative methods (ex. using Tips search engine)?

I have the same issue, when using swipe from bottom gestures mode and hiding the gesture hints, i can't trigger the google assistant by swiping up then holding
