Does anybody else have this problem with Google pay when they install the beta 4 version

Yes it's because Google hasn't certified the beta releases as they are being released so quickly. That will be fixed once the official release comes out. For now I'd recommend using Samsung Pay.

I switched to Samsung Pay as my default option while keeping Google Pay installed for later. It works perfectly and looks similar.
