Questions
I've never been a beta tester with Samsung and I'm curious how will we know when the stable version is released?

Questions
1. You will get a notification on here telling you the beta is closing/closed and how to download the stable version.
2. You will get a software update notifications in your notification tray or if you manually check for updates yourself.
PS: Always a good idea to backup your phone before official and/or beta updates.
3. The size of said update will be smaller than if you were doing a full update from Pie to Q. That is because the beta version you are on has maybe 70% of the necessary files and the only additions will be tweaks and January security updates.
4. If you follow Android-centric tech news sites, they will publish stories on there informing you. Many beta users are site tipsters. They also post on apps like Twitter.
5. There are several high-level Samsung moderators on this beta. They always vie for who will be the first to post about updates.
6. Other folks on here will keep posting and reposting about it on for days before the beta ends/closes, including people who will ask "Is the official version out yet? How did you get it? I am in XYZ town/state/country and I haven't seen it yet..."
Between these six sources, you should be pretty well covered...
