Samsung USB Thumb Drive

Samsung file manager - my files -will not list or access the files on my thumb drive. Is anyone else having this problem?

I use a thumb drive often to save photos that I dont want on a cloud server, and honestly to have my own backups. I have not had the issues you're having.
wish I had an answer for ya on this one. You've tried wiping cache and a reboot?

I have done all the basic troubleshooting, no help. I downloaded file manager + a third party app and it works fine. so I am kind of lost on this one

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
