Space below keyboard

Is there anyway to remove the space below the keyboard?

I have a huge black bar on my screen too restart didn't help

Pull down the notification shade and long press on navigation bar. this should take you to the screen you see in my screenshot. you need to select and then deselect the option "Show button to hide keyboard" this will fix that annoying space
