I'm not sure what the deal is, but the current beta is showing these really obnoxious indicators at the bottom left and right corners of the screen.  They appear for a few seconds and then vanish each time you navigate back to the home screen.  They don't appear on screen captures so I can't include them as an attachment here.  Anyway they are quite useless and annoying, and they need to be removed in the official version please.

This appears to be related to Google Assistant. I disabled it and the ugly indicators are gone now.

I'm really not sure!! After I disable the Google App, and then re-enabled the app, the problem still hasn't returned.

For anyone using full-screen gestures for the first time, those indicators may linger for a while as a reminder where to swipe for your Google Assistant, but they do disappear after a short time and do not return...

If you are referring to the 2 curved indicators at the bottom left and right of the screen, those are the swipe indicators for Google Assistant when you have full-screen gestures enabled. They remain onscreen for a while to serve as a reminder (and they may display a mesage/hint as well) and then disappear thereafter...
