Samsung DeX

Hello,

I'm trying to display Samsung DEX on my TV with 4k resolution but nothing works.

My current setup is:

- Galaxy S22 Ultra

- TV Samsung QN85A (4k TV)

- Samsung Multiport Adapter (which states that it can output 4k)

- 8k HDMI cable

I bought the Multiport Adapter specially to support 4k output but the biggest resolution i can get it work is FULL HD (1920x1080).

Has anyone managed to  make it work?

Thanks,

Alex

As I know DeX is not support 4K resolution output yet. DeX is limited to QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) now.

***Running Wireless DeX only get Full HD.

Hi alecstheone,For Samsung Smart TVs with 4K resolutions released in or after 2017, WQHD (2560x1440) is supported when connected through the 5 GHz band.

You need GoodLock and MultiStar for that.
