Keyboard not registering double press of letters

Kind of hard to explain but if i type a word that contains 2 of the same letter in a row it does not register the 2nd letter, I have tried 3 different keyboards and without dex so I think it is an external keyboard software issue. 

using Galaxy s10 one ui 4.0 and microsoft wireless keyboard. also same issue is happening if I disconnect dex and use wireless keyboard with just my phone screen.

What device do you have?

Also, not sure why you posted this in the "Bixby" category?

Does the same issue occur when you aren't using DEX?

Have you tried Clearing Cache & Data for everything related to DEX?

I'm using a Galaxy S10 and and I'm having the keyboard issue also when not using Dex I'm just connected to the phone. Sorry posted in the wrong category switched it to the dex category in the Forum

Hi, we suggest you to Clear the keyboard's cache and data.

1.Navigate to and open Settings, and then scroll and tap Apps.

2.Tap the sort icon and then tap the switch next to Show system apps, and then tap OK.

3.Search for or scroll to Samsung Keyboard, and then tap it.

4.Tap Force stop.

5.On the same screen, tap Storage.

6.Tap Clear data, and then tap OK . This will erase all your keyboard settings, including saved words.

Finally solved it. Turn off bounce keys in accessibility settings
