Samsung Health is not recording exercise on S20+

I notice that Samsung Health is not recording most of my walks and exercise. Very disappointing. Does anyone else have this problem.

FYI, autodetect exercise is turned on, background use is on, powersaving is off, steps are being recorded correctly, and it is not the phone, because Google Fit does record my walks and exercise.

Any tips to get Samsung Health to do it's job and record exercise properly? I am not using a wearable device.

Hi @Dutchie28, sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. What device do you have that you're experiencing this issue with? 

Here are some steps you can try:

- Please check if there's a pending update of Samsung Health App.

- Clear cache. To do this go to Settings> Apps> Samsung Health> Storage> Clear cache. If the issue still persist, choose the ''Clear data''.

-Uninstall/reinstall the app through Settings> Apps> Samsung Health> Uninstall. Then to install through Galaxy Store. Please note that doing this can lead to previous data being lost.

Hi Tina,

Thank you for your response. I did not mention this, but I actually did all those things as well as I found them on the internet.
The one thing I did not do is reinstall the app. I will try that and see how I go.
