Samsung MembersMy S20 Ultra having a green white screen issue since 3 July. Did not drop it, did not get it wet, just turned it on and all I saw was a white and green screen. Have done a factory reset, but issue remains.
Searched on YouTube and saw a few users reporting this issue since May.

S20 users in different regions are also experiencing the same issue recently.

I’m unable to get my phone fixed yet due to the pandemic lockdown. And this happens right after the warranty is over. Samsung needs to acknowledge this issue and fix it for their users for free.

Samsung MembersThey are saying it is related to screen issue and wanted to charge me RM1,300 to have it fixed. Told them I'll look for other alternatives.

Samsung Members@Eug84
I encountered same problem with my s20 ultra on Monday morning. Was on WhatsApp when the whole screen went green. Restarting the phone didn't solve the issue and I can't go and factory reset the phone since I've a lot of important info and 2fa bind to the phone.
I went to Samsung's service center on Monday and all they said was the screen need to be replaced and quote me MYR1000 for the repairs. Something about it might be due to water damage, battery overcharge or what not excuses...
I've left my phone at the service center for further checking and to request for Samsung to cover the repair cost. Hopefully they will come back with a favorable reply.

Samsung MembersSamsung service center got back to me on Wednesday, 28th Jul saying that they will offer me a 50% discount to for the repairs. While I was very disappointed at how Samsung treat their customer, I've opted to have my phone repaired since I'll need it for work.
Now for the second part of my disappointment with Samsung. Today, Friday 30th Jul, the service center called and informed me that all of their centers will be closed again. I will have to wait for them to reopen to repair my phone. Sadly the staff at the service center was not informed when they will be allowed to reopen.
Guess they wasn't wrong to say Samsung has crappy after sales service. Why open your service center for 1 week to have it closed again. Now unfortunate customer like me will have bear the cost of repair for what seems to be a software induced problem and now have to wait for God knows how long for the repair.
Samsung, please do better.
