We want to make sure we are offering the best possible Samsung Wallet experience for you, so do not hesitate to share your opinions and suggestions in this thread. This thread will be available for a few weeks.

Hi Parseneault76, thank you for your comment! It takes mutual teamwork between Samsung and the bank to make your cards compatible with Samsung Wallet. We certainly hope that more Canadian banks will partner with Samsung Wallet.

+ It's convenient, and I can activate the app to tap in various ways

! Samsung Wallet should definitely start to support online purchases. I don't want to use Google Pay when possible!
! There aren't any more featured memberships added these few years. More collaborations are needed. Eg. Starbucks, Tim Hortons?
! Samsung Award system is used to encourage people to use Samsung Pay in many other nations, but not in Canada. I think this should be brought into Canada sooner, the better. Canadians deserve more rewards!
! Transportation cards are still not supported in Canada! This has been a function available in other nations for years.


- The coupon I received from the S24 unbox event was pulled straight to my Google Pay app but not Samsung Wallet. That's not nice!
- Stores usually put a label and say they support Apple Pay and Google Pay but hardly ever Samsung Pay. Maybe Samsung should invest more to promote Smasung Pay as well. The situation was not like this back in 2017. Everywhere used to have a sticker to indicate they support Samsung Pay.

Bonsoir, je trouve des animalies au niveau de mon samsung S23fe acheter fin novembre 2023 les problèmes sont comme suit:
1-Tactile fonctionne mal ou ne fonctionne pas.
2- batterie se 4500mah ne tienne même pas 6h de communications ce n'est pas comme il revendique.
3- ton téléphone sonne tout seul et aucun a l'appareil.
4- le dernier et le important niveau de sécurité nul par rapport à d'autres marque.

I don't have the side key shortcut access on my S23 ultra

- Fingerprint recognition is not working but enforced, so it is basically unusable

Mastercard was not supported on my note 20ultra and now that I have the s24 ultra, it's still not supported. Is this a problem in Canada alone or something is wrong? Thanks

Hi yaw1, there might be various reasons/cases why your card is not supported. 

• The bank that issued your card does not support Samsung Wallet or Samsung Pay (i.e., the bank does not work together with Samsung Wallet);
• The type of card itself is not compatible with digital wallets like Samsung Wallet (meaning, other types of debit and credit cards issued by the same bank might still be compatible);
• In some cases, banks have a limitation as to how many devices your card can be stored digitally, and you might have exceeded the limit.

Kindly contact your bank or credit card issuer first to verify if your card is compatible with Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay.
