We would love to hear your thoughts and feedback about the Samsung Wallet app in Canada! We want to make sure we are offering the best possible Samsung Wallet experience for you, so do not hesitate to share your opinions and suggestions in this thread. This thread will be available for a few weeks.

Hi,

Here are few key areas Samsung Wallet can improve. + I already enjoy using it, but application needs to do more to compete against other wallet apps

! Adding support virtual credit card for online purchase. Shopping much safer, prevent our card stolen and misused as fraud purchases.

! Adding support Transit card for transportation local and outside the country.
Ex: Toronto transit Commission (Presto card) support in Google wallet only. I hope Samsung support onto wallet and other provinces will join in.

! Support FeliCa NFC for next generation galaxy devices or existent devices. - We take our devices outside, but we can't access discount transit services.
- Another reason shortage of chipset and makes it difficult to buy a physical pass

! Adding Gift card section: family and friend gives us present from birthday or celebration. Typical person put their card inside drawer and never use it. Best to put onto our phone and use it anywhere from store to online purchasing.

! Suggestion support UWB for P2P like sending money to galaxy phone, or taking train without need to bring a phone out tap in and out.

! Support Power reserve mode: in case emergency. Like taking transit pass and gain access to university campsite

Done ranting or long list suggestion. 😃

Why can't the Samsung Wallet on a S6 watch Support canadian debit cards while the Google Wallet on the same S6 watch supports them??

Sadly I'm with Desjardins and there's no support for it. And they don't seem to want to add support for it.

Hi OliverDuplessis, unfortunately it is not yet supported. However, we also hope that there will be more partnerships with more banks in the future.
