camera app not working

when I open it on my watch 3 it should open the camera app on the phone and display it on the watch. Could it be because I don't have a samsung smartphone ?

If you are talking about Camera Controller app for Watch. Yeah, it support certain Samsung Phones only. See my screenshot for support devices.

Note: This app is supported on the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy S9 and up only.
